On February 26, 2025, UNSCOL posted the following on its account on X platform: The UN in Lebanon congratulates Prime Minister Nawaf Salam and his government on earning Parliament’s vote of confidence tonight. We look forward to a new phase of Lebanese unity, which we hope will entail the consolidation of peace and security, in accordance with UN Security Council Resolution 1701, alongside the advancement of recovery and reconstruction efforts.
