The Secretary-General condemns the bombing that took place this morning in the northern Lebanese city of Tripoli.
He extends his condolences and sympathies to the Government of Lebanon and to the victims and their families, including members of the Lebanese Armed Forces. The Secretary-General believes this attack should not hinder the positive steps that have been taken to return the country to normalcy.
