The UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon, Ms. Sigrid Kaag, extends her deep condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers, kidnapped in 2014.

The servicemen will always serve as a symbol of courage, commitment and dedication to their country. The Special Coordinator also extends her condolences to the Lebanese State. 

The Special Coordinator commends the Lebanese Armed Forces and the security forces in their continued efforts to safeguard Lebanon’s stability, security and territorial integrity, including from the threat of terror.
