United Nations Special Coordinator Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert visited the Adyan Foundation in Beirut to participate in a roundtable discussion with religious leaders, who shared their experiences and lessons learned on bridging sectarian divides, promoting acceptance and tolerance built on common values, and fostering social solidarity, particularly during times of crisis. The Special Coordinator welcomed the Foundation's efforts to promote religious dialogue, build understanding and cultivate social cohesion between different communities as essential in Lebanon's pursuit of a more peaceful and sustainable future to meet the needs of its diverse communities.
