This week, OIC Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jean Arnault participated in the Aqaba Process meeting in Paris, which brought together international and regional partners to exchange views on coordinating international support for the Lebanese Armed Forces by assessing its security and capability needs and identifying practical, complementary assistance from international partners.
Mr. Arnault used the opportunity to underscore the importance of continued international support to the Lebanese Armed Forces and other State institutions, particularly as Lebanon works to strengthen State authority and security across the country. Mr. Arnault regularly engages with international and regional partners in support of Lebanon’s stability, sovereignty and State institutions.
