Jean Arnault Visits Lebanon NGO that Promotes Religious Dialogue and Social Cohesion

OIC Special Coordinator Jean Arnault visited the Adyan Foundation in Beirut to discuss with its President Nayla Tabbara projects that promote responsible citizenship, religious dialogue and social cohesion in Lebanon. During a roundtable discussion at Adyan with representatives from different religious communities, Mr. Arnault noted the importance of searching for national consensus in the midst of diversity, which in turn encourages international support for Lebanon. Emphasis was made during the discussions on the need to rebuild a value-based international system to address fairly the proliferation of conflicts and their impact on civilians, including in Lebanon and the Middle East.
