United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert today begins a visit to Israel, where she is set to meet with senior Israeli officials. Discussions are expected to centre on the current crisis and on the urgency of a ceasefire and the comprehensive implementation of Security Council resolution 1701.
