Passing of Lord Michael C Williams

The UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon Ms. Sigrid Kaag and UN colleagues are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Lord Michael C Williams of Baglan on 23 April 2017 in the United Kingdom.  Lord Williams served as UN Special Coordinator for Lebanon from August 2008 to September 2011. His strong and enduring commitment to the peace, security and stability of Lebanon will always be remembered.

The Special Coordinator expresses her sincere condolences to the family of Lord Williams.

A book of condolences will be opened at UNSCOL headquarters, Villa Sehanoui #4, Yarzeh on Wednesday 26 April, Thursday 27 April and Friday 28 April from 10:00 a.m. to 16:00 pm.
