    06 Jul 2023 - Following a recent rise in tension along Lebanon’s southern border, UN Special Coordinator Joanna Wronecka and UNIFIL Force Commander Maj. Gen. Aroldo Lazaro met with Lebanon’s caretaker Prime Minister Najib Mikati on 6 July with the participation of the caretaker Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdallah Bouhabib to discuss the importance of maintaining the calm along the Blue Line and respect for the cessation of hostilities between Lebanon and Israel.
