United Nations Day highlights the enduring ideals of the Charter, which entered into force on this date 74 years ago.
Amid stormy global seas, the Charter remains our shared moral anchor.
Prime Minister Saad Hariri received today at Grand Serail the members of the International Support Group (ISG).
United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs Rosemary DiCarlo will visit the Middle East from 5 to 11 October 2019 to discuss with key counterparts and partners current efforts by UN Missions, agencies, funds and programmes in the region.
New York --
The United Nations Charter sends a clear message to us all: put people first.
The first words of the Charter -- “we the peoples” – are a summons to place people at the centre of our work.
Every day. Everywhere.
